A colouring book by M.J. Artel
Foxes, Bears, Wolves and Eagles compete for forest fame.
Every few years, four animal communities of the Wildwoods gather for competition and games, to test their strengths and abilities. These competitions are known as the Wildwood Games!
The Games open when wise old Snappy Snapsalot, the snapping turtle who referees every event, lights the ceremonial torch. Then each team shows what it does best:
Then the teams meet in mixed events: a honeycomb-eating contest, soccer, tug-of-war, rope climbing, diving and swimming, and finally a moon-lit marathon through the forest. Medals are handed out, fireworks light up the closing ceremony, and the very last picture is a trophy made just for the reader.
Who will you cheer for?
Every picture comes with a page of story, so colouring time turns into reading time too.
Sly Foxes, burly Bears, cunning Wolves and swift Eagles, with wise old Snappy Snapsalot the snapping turtle as referee.
Kids design a symbol for each team, write in who they’re cheering for, and finish with a trophy made just for them.
Clear outlines and big shapes for younger children, with plenty of detail for older ones to take their time over.
A few of the pictures from The Wildwood Games. The ones marked “Colour it online” open in the free Colouring Studio.
