A colouring book by M.J. Artel
Scribbles the tiny robot loses his favourite colouring book, and finds a friend.
Once upon a time, in a small town, there lived a tiny robot named Scribbles. Scribbles was different from all the other robots in town, because his favourite hobby was collecting colouring books and colouring them in.
One day Scribbles hears about a colouring book fair in the next town over. He spends the whole day there, filling in pages and chatting with other colouring fans, but when he gets home he realises he has left his favourite colouring book behind. With help from a kind vendor, he finds it again, open to the very page he had been working on.
Later, Scribbles meets Pixel, a robot known for her kindness. Pixel notices that his pencils are worn down to stubs, and offers him her brand-new set. The two become friends and colour together, and rumour has it that this very book was the first colouring book they ever designed.
Scribbles gets help from a kind stranger, and a new friend named Pixel shares her pencils. It’s a gentle story about looking out for each other.
Boxy classics, round big-eyed bots, robots with flowers and robots with pencils, each with its own personality.
It’s a colouring book about a robot who collects colouring books, so young readers recognise themselves straight away.
Chunky shapes for small hands, with dials, buttons and gears for older kids who love detail.
